Priego de Cordaba: 1st Sept

Pat and Edwina took us to Priego, where Pat mostly lives, when he is not with Edwina. As it was Fiesta time, lots of people were dressed in traditional costume, and there was live music in all the bars. Of course it took Nick and me about 5 minutes before we joined in the dancing! It was so much fun!
Then we went on to the Ferria, where there were dancing horses in the streets, again with the riders, in traditional costume. The riders were actually from El Poleo, and run the bar in the village. They call it a 'club' so they can open when they want and almost give away the beer and tapas!

We took loads of pics, but unfortunately, when I had used the camera last, I had somehow managed to bugger up the colour, so you can't see the amazing bright colours of the costumes :-(

Of course we had to stop for Tapas, at Pat's favourite restaurant:

The 'caballos and rancheros' at the Ferria. I was fascinated watching the horses dancing, until I saw the spurs that they were using!
