Primelin

So we drive to Primelin, and it is not an Aire, it is a municipal camp site - but it is only 16 euros and there is plenty of space. After we have booked in we find the Aire! It is the parking area outside the campsite! Duh!
We look at our tourist map and see there is a nice sandy beach a 'short distance away', so we don our cossies and with me wearing flip flops set off to find the coast path to the beach. After an hour and a half of walking across fields, through brambles, up lanes, through villages we could just see the elusive beach in the distance. So we let the dogs and me have a paddle in a very weedy rocky cove, it wasn't even as nice as Elberry! And then found a significantly shorter way home!
Nick decided he wanted to have a day off driving, after his stressful experience the day before,so we stayed another night. So after much debate, we decided to pack a picnic and maybe some flares! And try to get to the elusive beach again. This time we went in the opposite direction and picked up the coast path after 10 mins and made it to the beach in under an hour!
It was perfect!fine white sand, crystal clear water and the dogs were allowed on it. There was even a fresh water stream for them! And then there is the weather- blue skies 25-30 degrees, and there is hardly anyone here!
